What should I wear for my first class?
Athletic clothes are perfect—t-shirt + shorts (no pockets) or leggings. Bring water. If you’ve got a gi, bring it… if not, no stress—we’ll guide you.
Do I need to be in shape before starting?
Nope. Show up as you are. We’ll keep it safe, technical, and progressive—think steady reps and good breathing, not “survive the room.”
I’m brand new… is this beginner-friendly?
100%. We’ll walk you through the basics, pair you up with the right people, and help you build confidence without getting overwhelmed.
How early should I arrive?
About 10 minutes early for your first class—quick intro, waiver, and we’ll get you set up.
Can I switch memberships later?
Yep. Start with the free trial or 2x/week and upgrade anytime if you want to train more.
Is there a contract? Can I cancel?
No weird pressure. If something changes, just reach out and we’ll help you handle it.
I’m nervous about sparring (rolling). Do I have to?
No. We’ll build you up at your pace. You can learn positions and movement first, then add rolling when you’re ready.
What if I have an old injury or I’m coming back from surgery?
Tell us before class. We can help you train smart, modify, and keep it low-impact while you build back up.
How do class packs work?
Packs are flexible—use your sessions whenever life lets you. Great for travel, busy schedules, or training seasonally.
